Premium $1,200 Besties All-In Tequila Begins Shipping After Five-Month Delay

Besties All-In Tequila Finally Reaches Customers After Months-Long Production Delays

A High-Profile Launch Followed by Unexpected Setbacks

When the hosts of the widely followed All-In podcast introduced their luxury tequila brand during a celebrity-filled launch event last June, demand surged instantly. All 750 bottles, each priced at $1,200, sold out in no time. However, ensuring those premium bottles arrived at buyers’ doorsteps turned out to be far more challenging than expected.

Shipments Begin After Nearly Five Months

According to podcast co-host Jason Calacanis, the long-awaited bottles of Besties All-In tequila finally started shipping last week, closing a nearly five-month delay, as he confirmed to TechCrunch.
Calacanis attributed the slowed timeline to the bottle’s unique craftsmanship: “Handcrafted bottles took a bit longer to create than expected, but the bottles started shipping last week!” he said.

A Collector’s Bottle With Complex Design

The tequila’s packaging was intended to be a standout collector’s item — a bottle shaped like a stack of poker chips with illumination from the base. The design pays tribute to poker, a shared passion of the podcast’s hosts alongside their enthusiasm for high-end tequila.
While visually striking, this intricate design became the core cause of the bottleneck in production.

Shifting Delivery Promises Frustrate Buyers

At purchase, customers were told to expect delivery by the end of summer. Instead, summer passed with no shipments. Buyers, who had already paid the $1,200 price tag in addition to taxes and assorted fees, found their delivery dates repeatedly rescheduled.

One TechCrunch reader reported multiple delays — first pushed to October, then November, and eventually postponed “after November,” according to a letter from Flaviar, the spirits marketplace responsible for distribution.

Websites and Distributors Update Timelines

Both the official Besties All-In website and Flaviar’s updates shifted in line with the changing delivery schedule. The website originally listed an end-of-summer fulfillment estimate but later updated this to note that shipments would “begin in November.”
Flaviar also stated in its letter that bottles would be shipped out in batches, suggesting a staggered delivery process.

A Slow but Hopeful Resolution

Although it remains uncertain how long it will take Flaviar to complete all pending deliveries, the start of shipments marks a significant step forward. With production hurdles explained and logistics underway, fans of the All-In hosts — often described as VCs, enthusiasts, and “besties” — may finally get the chance to enjoy their high-priced, handcrafted tequila just in time for the holiday season.
