Paul Lambis is an award-winning screenwriter, author, playwright and director, born in Johannesburg, South Africa to Greek Cypriot parents. Educated at the Johannesburg Art Foundation, he is based in Cyprus and is the Showrunner and Presenter of ‘Culturescope’, a popular cultural web television series, which showcases celebrities and individuals with incredible talent, including the island’s hidden gems.

Lambis is also the editor of Cyprus Mail’s highly successful business publication, Cyprus 4.0. He is a contributing writer for the Cyprus Mail, focusing on topics that include news, business, culture, tourism, celebrity profiles, and promoting the Hellenic Diaspora.

In the past, he has held key positions such as Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Marketing Head at renowned organisations. In 2008, after surviving a near-fatal car accident, Lambis put pen-to-paper and published his autobiography “Where is Home?” His highly-acclaimed memoir inspired him further to write, produce and perform a one-man stand-up comedy based on the book.

As an established playwright in Cyprus, Lambis has written, produced and directed theatrical productions to widespread critical acclaim. In 2016 and 2019, Paul Lambis received the award for “Best International Screenplay” for his war drama “74” from the Screenwriter’s Guild of Greece and the Cyprus International Film Festival respectively. In 2018, his theatrical production, “Melina: The Last Greek Goddess”, represented Cyprus at the “United Solo Theatre Festival” in New York and won first prize for “Best International Show”. His award-winning screenplay “74” is currently in development, planned to be filmed in Cyprus.
